Okay, this is an Msp blog but yanoo I Felt like posting some movies reviews once in a while, so like some good films to watch and if there good Bad Ect. :)
Okayy Today Im going to do a review on a film called 'The Last Castle'
. Is has No sexual Scenes ( Lets all Be Mature about that word ) Lots if Violence & Killing, Not Scary or Bloody , age Rating.. 15 I Wouldn't exactly say ALOT of killing, but there's a few scenes.
The story's based on people from the U.S Navy, Army Ect. I didn't see the beginning, but I saw pretty much the WHOLE film BUT the Beginning. They've Committed a Crime in some way, I Cant remember the name of the character but if you ever watch the film the man has a stutter. Let me tell you about the main story line.
The main character is a man called Eugene, He was a General in the U.S Army. He Committed a Crime and Got taken out of the U.S Army & Put into a jail for men that have committed a crime in the U.S Navy, Army Ect.
The man with the stutter ( Lets called him... Sam even though that NOT his name, I Just have a bad memory) Sam first meet Eugene in the head of the jails office, the jail is owned by a U.S officer and hes employed a fat mean man to look after the jail/work for him. He Salutes to Eugene,But the thing is, because they are no EX U.S officers its now WRONG to Salute. Later on in the film Sam is outside in the court he Salutes to Eugene, because he know that hes was once a general, The Jail owner ( The ones that's been employed to work for the I CANT REMEMBER ANY OFF THEIR NAMES!.. the person that OFFICIALLY owns the Jail shall be called Bob & The person employed to work in the Jail as the head man shall be called .... Steve??) Steve is watching Eugene & Sam from out his big window that over-looks the Court, Because its now classed as begin wrong to Salute, Sam gets a Punishment. He has to stand outside with no rain coat saluting all night through the cold and the rain. When Dawn breaks all the prisoner's go outside even though its still raining.
Baring in mind Eugene is quite am old man. Eugene sees Sam stood there nearly falling asleep and so cold, a officer that works for Steve come to check on him, I kinda went to the toilet so I missed a few Bits! But when I Came back down, Sam had Obviously said something to the officer that was going to make him get punished ( hit with one of those Big wood sticky things..) But Eugene grabs his arm to stop him from getting hit, but handling/ touching a officer is classed as an offence and he has a punishment of Moving a big pile of rocks into another pile. He then had to move the rocks BACK into the pile they started in, some idiotic guy decides to push him into the rock and his head starts bleeding :o
Then if you've even seen nothing to declare you'll understand what I mean. They have cells that Have no light and no windows, the only things that provides light is a small slit in the door that only people from the outside can open. After his Punishment he get put in there.
This was Meant to be brief, So in the end Sam gets killed cause they build this HUGE wall and they want to knock it down so he stand in front of the bull dozer, There's a Siren that goes off and that alerts all prisoners to get to the floor, if you don't get to the floor your shot ):
Then The Prisoners plan to escape, Eugene is the Leader, they get far and defeat the officers working for Steve, Steve thought that Eugene was going to raise the American flag upside down, this is a sign of desperation, so they went through all the prisoners cells to find the flag but, later on you find they buried it in the rubble of rocks. There all on the floor as Eugene Disobeys order and goes to raise the flag you soon find its not the american flag its the old one, but Steve shoot Eugene. So its a sad ending :( I SUGGEST YOU WATCH THE FILM! this was VERY brief and not very good but yeah ^-^
